advanced elbow treatments to heal your epicondylitis, tennis elbow and golfers elbow, The natural way to heal faster

Dear MendMeshop,

I would like to thank you for a wonderful product. My husband has "golfer's elbow" and the use of the ultrasound and gel has helped it immensely.

He has nearly gained full use of his arm. Cortisone shots had only given him temporary relief. Thank you!

Dear MendMeShop,

A few months ago my tennis elbow started to flare up again. I have gone to physical therapy for ultrasound treatments in the past and they worked. I'm not in a position right now to go to physical therapy, so thought I would just have to ride it out until I could get there.

Then I came across this website and thought I'd give the Ultrasound Pain Therapy System a try. I'm glad I did. The pain has started to subside and I don't have to spend my money going to the physical therapist!

I have friends who have tried my system as well and they are amazed at the results. I would recommend it to anyone.

Thank you MendMeShop!

Dear MendMeShop,

I would very much like to write a review for your wraps since they have been such a help to me. I am an avid tennis player that has this year suffered from both elbow and achilles tendonitis. For years I've been the best in my club but once my tendonitis set in I just couldn't compete.

I tried creams and pain killers and bands but they didn't get me better. I was beginning to fear I'd never recover. Then I ordered a BFST kit and Freezie Wrap from you and things have really turned around.

The tightness and inflammation seem to be pretty much gone and I can't say enough about how much the Freezie Wrap helped for pain - it was like it was sucking the pain right out - truly amazing!

Too bad for the rest of the club. They thought I was out for the season and now I'm back!

Dear MendMeShop,

I am a Registered Nurse who works straight night shifts and I have had chronic neck, bilateral shoulder and arm pain intermittently for 3 years. I have seen a chiropractor, a neurologist, and physical therapist. I have tingling and numbness in my arms and hands, especially when I push on the pressure points near my elbows. In fact, most or all of the pressure point in my neck, shoulders, and arms hurt when pressed / massaged.

The neurologist said it is probably cervical strain, the nerve conduction test was negative. I just saw my primary physician today and she has referred me back to the neurologist to redo the nerve test because I am starting to drop things. I have tried NSAIDs, massage, tens, heating packs, ice packs, stretching exercises, and traction.

The only treatment that took the pain and numbness away instantly and thorougly has been MendMeShop Ultrasound massage therapy.

Dear MendMeShop,

I had a career of over 30 years as a railroad mechanic during which time I inflicted much abuse to my body, especially the knees and elbows. After much research on my condition I purchased two of your products available and after three weeks of using them I have to say that I'm almost totally free of the constant, unbearable pain that I was experiencing.

I appreciate the care your company provides to their customers with your advisors on hand to answer any questions you might have and help you through the healing process.

I will be recommending your products to my friends in the future, thank you again MendMeShop.

Dear MendMeShop,

I used my ultrasound for three weeks 3x's a day for 5 minutes each interval. I have tendenitis in my elbow and it really feels like it is healed.

My job requires a lot of lifting and being off for a while has probably helped my healing and treatment. I hope my elbow doesn't flair up after going back to work. If in fact it does return I will return to the therapy with my ultrasound. I think I will start using it on my heals as I have plantar fasciitis and am on my feet constantly at work.

Thanks again for the great product. You guys ROCK!

How to Prevent Epicondylitis

It is always better to prevent tennis elbow or golfer's elbow rather than try to fix them after they happen, however that is not always the situation. In any case, there are a number of things you can do to keep your elbow, wrist and forearm healthy and prevent further damage.

Stabilize Your Elbow Joint

Build Strength and Flexibility

To stabilize your elbow joint and preserve your range of motion, maintain and build the strength and flexibility of your forearm, upper arm and shoulder muscles and tendons.

Strengthening and stretching exercises will help to keep your arm strong and supple, which will prevent further injuries. Also, a regular exercise program that focuses on total body fitness will keep you healthy overall.

Avoid doing too much to soon to give your body an opportunity to build up its endurance, especially when starting a new activity. Gradually increase your participation to prevent overstraining your muscles. Remember to always warm up and cool down your forearm muscles before and after working them.

Use Correct Technique

Prevent Injury by Utilizing Your Whole Body

Correct Tennis racquet positioning

Learn and practice proper form and techniques to prevent injuries by utilizing your total body when possible, for example swinging a racquet with your whole arm rather than just your wrist.

Keep your wrist in a neutral and/or slightly rigid position, and use your stronger upper arm muscles, rather than smaller forearm muscles when lifting or twisting.

This is especially important when participating in something new such as a racquet sport, swimming, weightlifting, or throwing sports.

Choose appropriate equipment for your body type, the size and weight of your equipment and tools definitely makes a difference.

Twisting of the wrist

Wrist, Elbow and Forearm Pain

If you are suffering from wrist, elbow or forearm pain, decrease, modify and/or avoid any repetitive motions that cause irritation (usually twisting or gripping actions).

If you are required to perform these motions at work or play and can not avoid them, make sure you take frequent breaks and rest your arm to prevent fatigue.

Treat Your Tendon

With Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy

You can help your body repair itself by speeding its natural healing process with Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy.

During normal activities, the movement promotes blood flow through our body. Our body responds to the movement by sending oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to the muscles, joints, tendons and other soft tissue in the body.

When at rest, the blood flow to your tendons is greatly reduced. Unfortunately, when your tendon is injured it requires rest but it also needs the blood flow to promote the healing process. Since you can't work your tendon without danger of further injury, you need to stimulate the blood flow another way.

The Inferno Wrap Family

Our innovative Inferno Wrap™ gives you the best Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy available. The Inferno Wrap™ creates energy waves that stimulate blood flow by penetrating through the outer layers of your body. The energy waves reach deep into your muscles, tendons and cartilage, reducing your pain as they heal the inner tissue.

An Inferno Wrap™ gives you unparalleled blood flow stimulation to your injured tendon. Other therapy products can not come close to offering the comfortable, contoured fit and targeted energy treatment an Inferno Wrap™ provides.

Now you can reduce your pain and heal yourself anywhere with the comfortable, light weight Inferno Wrap™.

  • Relax the tissue
  • Prepare your forearm muscles for action
  • Reduce scar tissue
  • Help diminish pain and inflammation after your activity

If you suffer from mild inflammation or pain after certain activities or movements, implement URICE - use ultrasound therapy when you complete the activity, then rest your arm, apply a cold pack, compress and elevate your arm. You can also use anti-inflammatory medication for pain if required.

If you have been given a treatment plan by your health professional, make sure you adhere to it to ensure pain free living. In general, people who are committed to their therapies and exercises will have the best medical outcomes.

Cold Compression

Freezie Wraps™: Flexible, Ice Cold and Supportive

Elbow Cold Compression Wrap

Cold Compression Freezie Wraps™ are recommended as the best by several professional sports organizations, and countless medical professionals.

We have noticed over time that our customers are so fond of our Freezie Wraps™ that they are frequently coming back and ordering a second one to ensure they always have one in the freezer while wearing the other.

The wraps are becoming very popular with baseball and tennis trainers, and the wraps can be conveniently stored in a cooler for quick application on the field when needed.

If you suffer from mild inflammation or pain after certain activities or movements use ultrasound therapy when you complete the activity and then rest and elevate your elbow.

Limit the application of ultrasound to a couple of treatments per day (the manual will recommend treatment frequency depending upon the injury). In between ultrasound treatments use the Freezie Wrap™ to maximize your pain relief and injury recovery.

If you have been given a treatment plan by your health professional, make sure you adhere to it to ensure pain free living. In general, people who are committed to their therapies and exercises will have the best medical outcomes.
